MALIN+GOETZ
New York, United States · since 2004
Face, hair and body care in plain bottles, made for every skin and sold without fuss.
MALIN+GOETZ is a New York apothecary started in March 2004 by Matthew Malin, who came from skincare, and Andrew Goetz, who came from design. The first shop opened in Chelsea. The company is still based in New York, with shops of its own there and in London, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and around six hundred shops and hotels that carry it.
The products are face, hair and body care, plus candles and eau de parfum, in plain bottles with short labels. They are made for every skin type and for anyone, without animal testing, and the formulas pair natural ingredients with current chemistry rather than choosing one side. Since 2015 the company has belonged to Manzanita Capital, which also owns Diptyque.
Why we stock MALIN+GOETZ
The two or three things that live in a wash bag and a desk drawer: a hand cream, a face wash, a candle for the flat. MALIN+GOETZ makes them plainly, in bottles that look right on a shelf and read the same for everyone. It is the first care brand here, and it opens the range beyond bags.
The first MALIN+GOETZ pieces arrive in Barcelona with Supply 001, in Oct 2026.
