Db

Oslo, Norway · since 2012

Backpacks and luggage that clip together, with a flat laptop pocket and a repair policy.

Db is a Norwegian bag company based in Oslo. It was started in 2012 by the freeskier Jon Olsson and Truls Brataas, and its first product was the Snowroller, a ski bag with a patented compression system that collapses when empty. The company traded as Douchebags until it shortened the name to Db.

Today it makes backpacks, duffels, hard-shell and soft luggage, camera bags, slings and totes. The bags are designed in Scandinavia and made in Vietnam, and they share the Hook-Up system: a backpack clips onto a suitcase and the set moves as one. Db is a certified B Corporation; its policy is to repair before it replaces, and between fifty and a hundred people work there.

Why we stock Db

A backpack that opens flat, takes a laptop and a change of clothes, and clips onto a suitcase on the way to the airport. Db designs for the commute and the trip in the same bag, and it repairs what breaks. Few bag brands think about the whole set; this one does.

The first Db pieces arrive in Barcelona with Supply 001, in Oct 2026.
